Holme Court School actively supports the following local communities:

• Dennis Wilson Court Retirement Living ( Handmade Christmas cards by the children each year )
• Newmarket Open Door ( Food Bank )
• St Andrew’s Church ( Cherry Hinton Food Bank )
• As part of the School’s enrichment programme all classes vote for a charity which they choose to support throughout the academic year. Each class is responsible for planning and implementing it’s own fundraising activities. For the current year the following charities have been chosen:
• Ash Form (KS2) WWF
• Beach Form Yr7 Woodgreen Animal Shelter
• Elm Form Yr7 RSPCA
• Hazel Yr8 Woodland Trust
• Maple Yr9 RSPCA
• Oak Yr10 Wood Green Animal Shelter
• Willow Yr11 Young Minds

Whole School Charity Fundraising

The school responds to National and International disasters. Financial contributions have been made to the British Red Cross and the Disasters Emergency Committee to support Ukrainian refugees and earthquake victims’ in Turkey and Syria. In addition to this many items of clothing, toiletries etc have been sent directly to these countries via organised shipments.
